Our company has been devoted to the bearings industry since 1963, when we started out as Seoul Engine Bearing Mfg., Co. In conjunction with the restructuring of the steel industry in 2000, we rebranded as, Best Metal Works Co., Ltd. We are a member of the Korean Industry of Commerce and we are accredited with the ISO 9001:2008 & KS Q ISO 9001:2009 Certificates, benchmarks for quality and accuracy in the field of engineering.

At Best Metal Works we manufacture Babbitt Bearings, White Metal Bearings, Journal Bearings, Sleeve Bearings, Main Bearings, Plain Bearings, Crankshaft Bearings, Connecting Rod Bearings, Big End Bearings, Small End Bearings, Piston End Bearings, Camshaft Bearings, Rocker Arm Bearings, Bushings, Thrust Bearings, Thrust Washers, Crank Pin Bearings and Flange Bearings.

Since our establishment we have had many achievements: In 1983 we were the first Korean company to be awarded the contract to supply bearings to the Korean Military for its M-47 tanks, which were previously imported. In 1986 we were awarded the “Iron Tower Medal” by the Government for contributions to Korean industry and in 2001 we received the “Model Enterprise” award. In 2013, we celebrated our 50th anniversary in the bearings business!

In 2010 our facility procured specialised equipment to begin self-supplying all raw materials in-plant, which streamlined our production cycle. Apart from producing our own raw materials, Best Metal Works has its own Custom order division. We are able to custom design most bearings to fit your applications. We have the capacity to tool and adapt almost any bearing component to meet your design needs through our engineering and metallurgical expertise.
